About The Position

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking Security Engineers to design enterprise cybersecurity controls across cloud and hybrid environments. Responsibilities include securing CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications, automating runtime security and compliance for serverless applications, and implementing infrastructure as code for scalable and secure deployments. The role also involves leading security integrations into centralized monitoring systems, building real-time threat correlation rules, and developing automation for vulnerability remediation, compliance reporting, and log ingestion. Applying security frameworks to assess and improve risk posture, and building/maintaining integrations for continuous monitoring and incident response are also key duties.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer, Application Security Consultant, or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer, Application Security Consultant, or related occupation.
  • Five (5) years of experience with designing and enforcing security controls, network segmentation, and automated compliance using CNAP platforms including Wiz.io in a public cloud environment.
  • Five (5) years of experience conducting threat modeling and risk assessment using ThreatModeler to identify attack vectors, quantify business impact, and define mitigation strategies before deployment.
  • Five (5) years of experience performing threat hunting and developing custom detection rules using CrowdStrike EDR and NG-SIEM to protect advanced users and close visibility gaps across endpoints, networks, and cloud workloads.
  • Five (5) years of experience implementing vulnerability management using Tenable agents to triage, prioritize, and remediate critical flaws in cloud environments to meet SLAs and minimize exposure windows.
  • Five (5) years of experience designing data pipelines for SIEM ingestion.
  • Five (5) years of experience performing security metric analytics to report MTTD and MTTR across detection and response functions.
  • Five (5) years of experience designing automation workflows using Jenkins to embed security into CI/CD pipeline scans, enforce quality gates, and automate drift detection before deployments.
