As a Security Engineer - Network, Governance, Risk within PNC's Information Security organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Lakewood, CO.   • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • University / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
  • Specific certifications are often required.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming network security policy requests not limited to network firewall, micro segmentation, proxy, and web application firewall.
  • Be available (on-call) to handle break fix scenarios.
  • Participate in standup efforts and projects that require more involvement than a typical request engagement.
  • Drafting/revising policy language
  • Enforcing
  • Reviewing policy exceptions as part of GRC functionality
  • Revising procedures and processes for improvement
  • Vulnerability management and remediation
