About The Position

This role involves providing frontline support for information security issues, including penetration testing, network and service configuration, advising on security policy compliance, handling data confidentiality, and monitoring for emerging threats. The position also contributes to the development of Information Security policies and processes, conducts application security reviews, and recommends solutions for security issues. Additionally, the Security Engineer III will provide security support during critical events impacting customer-facing services, identify and troubleshoot recurring issues, mentor junior staff, participate in the hiring process, and build and develop security solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Technology, Mathematics or a related field and four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Six years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Bachelor's degree and four years of experience.
• One year of experience in application and infrastructure information security.
• One year of experience in application of threat modeling or other risk identification techniques.
• One year of experience in knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing, source code review, configuring advanced runtime and static vulnerability testing tools and the development of exploits.
• One year of experience in programming in Java, C, C++, Perl, Ruby or Python.
• One year of experience in coordinating responsibility of technical security tasks.

Responsibilities
