About The Position

This role involves ensuring the safety and security of the mine site, including conducting daily inspections, providing emergency medical response, and managing access for personnel and vehicles. The position requires adherence to strict safety and care standards, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Valid Class G license
• Clean Criminal Record Check
• Pre-employment drug screening required
• Maintain positive attitude and professional working relationships with employees, visitors and clients
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and deportment
• Maintain effective communication
• Always maintain patient confidentiality.
• Maintain 100% compliance with federal, provincial or site-specific safety and prehospital care standards.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced First Aid/ EMR and CPR/AED certification recommended

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of the mine site.
• Provide primary emergency medical response on-site to incidents and emergencies.
• Manage the sign-in/out process and screening of employees, visitors, and suppliers, including their belongings.
• Perform vehicle inspections for all vehicles entering the mine site.
• Conduct Fit for Work tests as required.
