About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Driver in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate responses, and support security-related operations through strong communication and technology use. This is a driving post. You will help to deter incidents, remain a visible and reliable presence, and deliver customer service with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, handling incoming calls and radio traffic, and supporting security-related communications at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate communications with on-site personnel, emergency responders, and/or management as needed.
  • Monitor cameras, alarm activity, and access-related systems, document events accurately, and relay time-sensitive information to the appropriate personnel.
  • Dispatch officers or other designated personnel to routine and urgent situations, maintain detailed activity logs, and communicate updates clearly throughout the shift.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol support activities by tracking officer status, monitoring perimeter-related reports, and helping to coordinate responses across the business and surrounding property.
