About The Position

Concentric is seeking a Security Driver/Residential Security Team (RST) Agent (Armed) to join a team embedded with a client in Washington, DC. This role is focused on residential security, including access control, site monitoring, patrols, and providing discreet driving support. The position requires strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to work in both static and mobile security environments. Candidates must be able to obtain a firearm permit for concealed carry in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of equivalent or relevant industry experience
  • Ability to obtain a firearm permit for concealed carry and carry a firearm in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Operational experience driving high-profile executives or high-net-worth passengers
  • Current Driver’s License with a flawless driving record
  • May be required to obtain a guard card
  • Thorough understanding of local and federal laws and regulations related to personal driver services
  • Well-versed in driving in and around the Greater Washington D.C. Area
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Operational experience with residential security teams, executive protection details, and/or high-profile corporate security teams
  • Emotional intelligence and a customer-focused approach
  • A successful track record operating within a high-touch, customer service environment
  • Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful driving conditions
  • High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information, excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort working with senior leadership
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including Google Suite and MS Office applications
  • Skilled in synthesizing facts, concepts, and principles

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing executive driving service for individuals with mobility issues
  • Defensive Driving and/or EVOC certifications
  • Advanced medical training (EMT, WEMT, WFR, TCCC/TECC)
  • Executive Protection and/or Tactical training preferred
  • Working knowledge and comfortable with the use of communication apps (ie. Signal, WhatsApp).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a secure residential environment through access control, monitoring, and continuous situational awareness
  • Conduct routine property checks and light exterior patrols to verify site security and identify irregularities
  • Manage and coordinate all visitor and vendor access, ensuring proper vetting and documentation
  • Safeguard the Principal, family members, and guests from safety and security risks within the residence and immediate surroundings
  • Coordinate with internal teams, security personnel, and household staff to ensure seamless daily operations
  • Support secure driving operations as needed, providing safe, discreet, and timely transportation for the Principal and guests
  • Conduct advance work and route planning, including primary and alternate routes
  • Operate vehicles in a safe, smooth, and professional manner while maintaining passenger comfort and security
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness, readiness, and maintenance compliance
  • Identify, assess, and respond to potential threats, incidents, or emergencies, escalating as appropriate
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders
  • Assist with emergency response, including medical incidents or unforeseen disruptions
  • Follow established procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of RST and driving operations
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and standards
