About The Position

This position will work directly with the security team to collect and analyze data. They must make this data accessible to those who need the information to streamline business processes. This person needs to possess strong analytical skills. They need the capacity to work with large amounts of data, extract relevant information and draw logical conclusions. This role involves overseeing security operations, managing security systems, coordinating with security staff, and ensuring the safety and security of employees, visitors, and company assets. This role will also provide regional in-field strategic direction to program compliance and efficiency; guiding modifications and upgrades to identified systems/equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in related field to include but not limited to Statistics, Criminology and/or Computer Engineering.
  • At least a year of related experience
  • Ability to pay attention to detail when working with data to make accurate conclusions and predictions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with key shareholders
  • A solid understanding of data sources, data organization and storage IT and mathematical skills and/or knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of relevant relational databases
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
  • 10% Travel required, Must be able to travel commercially
  • Valid Drivers License
  • US Passport

Responsibilities

  • Using tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams, graphs and presentations
  • Preparing reports and presenting these to management or security contractors
  • Identifying and recommending new ways to save money by streamlining business processes, analyzing budgets monthly, quarterly and yearly invoices leading to better cost-effective paths
  • Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt or invalid data
  • Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
  • Manage facility access control and badge issuance
  • Enforce badge policies and co-lead physical security initiatives
  • Monitor system performance and ensure operational effectiveness
  • Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and internal teams
  • Monitor device health and manage service tickets
  • Generate access reports and develop security dashboards
  • Implement emergency communication platforms
  • Assess site security needs and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Assist in developing and updating security policies
  • Deliver training aligned with corporate standards
  • Stay current with security technologies and trends
  • Conduct facility audits and present risk mitigation recommendations
  • Other security related duties as assigned.
