About The Position

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is hiring a Security Coordinator – Level 3 in Redondo Beach, California. This position is 100% onsite and does not accommodate telecommuting. The role supports badge and visitor control processes, maintains visitor security records, and helps ensure compliance with company, government, and customer security requirements. The position requires an active U.S. Government Secret clearance at the time of application.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and four years of additional education and/or related experience.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at the time of application, current and within scope.
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a self-starter attitude.
• Strong people skills and ability to interact extensively with employees, visitors, contractors, and all levels of management.

Nice To Haves

• Current, active DoD Secret clearance with SCI access.
• LRA certification.
• Knowledge of Intercede.
• Knowledge of SIMS.
• Knowledge of Lenel.
• Knowledge of CCURE.
• Knowledge of DISS.

Responsibilities

• Print badges and ID cards for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Enter data into the security database and maintain visitor records, including records of incoming and outgoing DoD visits.
• Complete daily logs and monthly metric reports related to Badge and Visitor Control.
• Support security staff efforts to ensure compliance with company, government, and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Support additional security processes as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
