About The Position

Responsible for delivery as well as support of the Give & Go security program, security protocol development support, risk analysis of Give & Go business functions, initiating and investigating security related issues. The position will have operational accountability to support and provide oversight to physical security operations, program delivery related to all Give & Go facilities plus ensuring the safe and secure environment for all Give & Go employees across the business.

Requirements

• College degree
• 3 years of experience in security
• Ontario Security License completed
• Basic project management best practices.
• Security systems to include, service and maintenance across a broad spectrum of access control, intrusion, and video surveillance systems
• Departmental processes and policies.
• Computer Operational skills that include understanding of Microsoft Office and various software programs specific to Security Systems.
• Problem identification and problem solving.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Work independently and prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to needed changes.
• Comprehend technical language and read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.
• Effectively prioritize work requests.
• Exercise considerable judgment and initiative.
• Manage time effectively.
• A G class driver’s license is required to be able to drive between sites

Responsibilities

• Maintaining safe work environment across Give & Go business.
• Providing frontline support to all Give & Go facilities including head office facility
• Coordination / Launch of Security Projects
• Communication and education of all Security measures across Give & Go business.
• Daily Monitoring of Security Requests – To include but not limited to Access Control, CCTV Audits, Coordinating Security Audits, Technical Support for all physical security measures.
• Support for all Security Portal requests.
• Weekly, Monthly, Bi-Annual and Annual Security Audit support.
• Tracking of all Give & Go security systems.
• 3rd Party Security Support.
• Give & Go security system education at Plant Level to all employees.
• Act as point of contact for all Give & Go access control issues and incidents.
• Incident reporting, auditing incident reports and providing high level recaps for Give & Go executives.
• Support of Human Resources Inquiries and Investigations.
• Key Control. (Hard Keys) and tracking of all Give & Go access codes
