About The Position

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking a Security Control Assessor (SCA) Senior to support the Federal Solutions Team, which provides, operates, and assures critical voice, video, and collaboration services for the intelligence community. This role will assist in providing the NRO with a secure mission environment by offering realistic, innovative information security solutions, program management, information systems security expertise, security control assessments, information assurance engineering, and security control assessments test engineering. The position requires a minimum of 5 days per week in the office at the customer's site in Chantilly, Virginia.

Requirements

  • High School OR Associates AND 7 Years’ Experience
  • Bachelor’s AND 5 Years’ Experience
  • Master AND 3 Years’ Experience
  • Must meet minimum requirements for DoD 8570 IAT Level 3 to include ONE of the following: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP
  • TS/SCI with Poly clearance

Responsibilities

  • Perform information systems A&A as defined in applicable ICDs and guidance.
  • Develop and Implement security related directives and guidance for IA/IT/IM.
  • Utilize risk management strategies for information technology solutions.
  • Effectively coordinate A&A activities of industry and Government information systems to meet acquisition milestone requirements.
  • Produce effective technical reports and general correspondence.
  • Manage and track systems or programs involved in the A&A process.
  • Ensure appropriate knowledge and skill transfer occurs.
  • Conduct independent assessments of security controls to evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts.
  • Validate security requirements and ensure systems meet established security standards.
  • Perform security reviews to identify gaps in security architecture and develop risk management plans.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with regulations.
