Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience as a security guard
  • 1 year of personnel management experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a BCI background check
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Guard Card issued by the Ohio Department of Public Safety and Private Investigator and Security Guard Services (PISGS)
  • Ability to reliably commute to the worksite in Dayton, OH

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of event security experience (strongly preferred)
  • 4 years military experience or 2 years law enforcement experience
  • Associates degree or higher
  • Valid OPOTA Certification

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between Sahara Global Security and the client.
  • Assist with scheduling needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Update the schedule daily to reflect accurate clock ins and outs.
  • Coordinate with the client to ensure proper security coverage and operations during events.
  • Communicate regularly with all persons assigned to the worksite, including house guards and event guards.
  • Participate in weekly operations meetings to provide site updates, needs, news, etc.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and the Operations Directorate to ensure staffing needs are met.
  • Ensure compliance with worksite SOP and company policies.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and the Operations Directorate for disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Complete daily responsibilities of a security guard when working on site.
