About The Position

This is a hands-on role combining programmatic security work (~80%) with incident response (~20%), requiring an individual who can build relationships across cross-functional teams, manage multiple concurrent workstreams, remain calm under pressure, think on their feet, and adapt quickly to evolving operational needs.

Requirements

  • Program management — Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, track deliverables, and drive projects to completion across cross-functional teams
  • Relationship building — Skilled at establishing trust and productive working relationships with diverse stakeholders including internal teams (IBOS, GSST, DEC, Sourcing) and external parties (carriers, vendors, 3P operators)
  • Problem solving / adaptability — Demonstrated ability to think on their feet, solve problems in real-time, and adapt to rapidly changing operational environments
  • Communication — Clear and effective written and verbal communication for conveying security expectations, writing reports, and escalating issues
  • Attention to detail — Ability to assess complex physical and operational security environments against documented standards and identify gaps
  • Program management. Has personally driven a multi-site or multi-vendor remediation effort to completion, not just tracked a list.
  • Stakeholder credibility. Can walk into a vendor-run warehouse or a carrier ops meeting and get a security change adopted without formal authority.
  • Real-time problem solving. Has handled a live loss or tamper event and made calls with incomplete information.
  • Written clarity. Can produce an assessment report and an incident write-up that leadership can act on.
  • Detail against a standard. Has assessed physical sites against a documented checklist and found gaps others missed.
  • Pivots fast. Can instantly switch gears between programmatic work and incident response.
  • Think on your feet. Able to quickly assess a problem and provide a solution without extensive planning or prep time.
  • Speed wins. Most of our decisions can be reversed, but must be made under time constraints.
