The Security Clearances Administrator will support the BGIS security program in compliance with Infrastructure Ontario corporate and government policies and directives. This role involves processing clearances for BGIS Team Members and contractors requiring access to Government of Ontario information, assets, or work sites, ensuring accurate and complete personnel security screening documentation is submitted. The administrator will also manage compliance for internal and vendor applicants approaching clearance expiry, proactively contacting them for renewals and assisting with system submissions. Enforcement of Infrastructure Ontario (IO) clearance requirements and protocols, and collaboration with Security Specialists are key aspects of this position. Additionally, the role includes providing change of circumstance reports, ensuring timely termination of clearances for those no longer requiring access, and maintaining a current list of security screened personnel. The administrator will safeguard personnel security screening files, maintain detailed records for audit readiness, and escalate issues to management as needed. General administrative support and understanding of location-specific security requirements are also expected.
