About The Position

The Office of Information Security’s Awareness, Behavior, and Culture (ABC) team works with stakeholders across the university to improve information security. This role develops communications, training content, and user guidance that build awareness, encourage secure behaviors, and foster a secure culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • Excellent research and writing skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare written content for a diverse audience of faculty, staff, and students, explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Help develop training curriculum and phish testing strategy using visual design and editing software such as Vyond, Articulate, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Conduct research for articles and web content pertaining to topics and best practices in information security.
  • Plan and manage events for Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
  • Analyze data about newsletter readership, website traffic, phishing simulation results, training completions, etc. to understand and improve program performance.
  • Configure and maintain content in Learning Management System (LMS) platforms like KnowBe4, Workday Learning, and Canvas.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
