The Security Automation Engineer will be responsible for writing, testing, and documenting technical work products, conducting root cause analysis, designing self-contained systems, and coaching team members to improve reliability, resiliency, security, and performance. This role involves decomposing complex designs, anticipating trouble areas, defining test suites, and leading the closure of open vulnerabilities. The engineer will also evaluate potential attack surfaces, identify best practices for mitigation, and ensure reuse is a primary consideration in all team implementations. Additionally, the role includes formally mentoring teammates and identifying opportunities for introducing new approaches to problems.
