Dedicated Venue Security Associate with experience maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and performers during live events. Skilled in crowd control, conflict resolution, emergency response procedures, and enforcing venue policies while delivering professional customer service in fast-paced environments. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work non-conventional hours as well as long periods of time with constant standing, sitting, walking and lifting.
  • Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations.
  • Able to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision.
  • Must be able to accept and carry out responsibility for directions.
  • Practice safe work habits follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure guest safety through proactive interaction and hazard prevention within assigned areas.
  • Prevent and de-escalate guest altercations in a professional manner.
  • Assist with emergency response procedures, including guest and staff evacuations.
  • Maintain visibility and control of assigned areas by actively circulating throughout the shift.
  • Verify identification for guests appearing under the age of 30 when consuming alcoholic beverages.
  • Monitor and control venue entry and exit points to ensure safety and prevent theft or unauthorized access.
  • Patrol the premises to identify and address safety concerns, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons.
  • Complete incident and activity reports documenting irregularities, damages, theft, or safety concerns.
  • Protect venue property and guest belongings from theft or damage.
  • Communicate effectively with team members using radios, hand signals, and flashlights throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by addressing spills, trash, and other hazards before, during, and after events.
  • Arrive to scheduled shifts on time with a neat, professional appearance.
  • Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with guests and staff.
  • Provide crowd control support with a strong understanding of ingress and egress procedures.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
