Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 year of experience
Must be able to frequently lift/lower, push, carry, or pull 48lbs

Responsibilities

Responsible for loss prevention and shortage control programs, taking an active role in identifying all forms of loss, motivating shortage control involvement, and helping to identify shortage control solutions
Provide a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors including the facility, as well as drivers and sales representatives
Provide security for the company warehouse, offices, and general assets against theft, vandalism, fire, and illegal entry
Utilizing a variety of methods, the security associate monitors and assists with the tracking of product shortages
Responsible for investigating reports of known or suspected internal theft, violence or the threat of violence or other criminal acts of an associate
Provide oversight and assistance in the management of third-party security services
Conducting company shrink compliance audits in the distribution center and facilitating improvement of shrink results
Develop and maintain a rapport with the various agencies as needed, coordinated investigations with internal or outside agencies
Perform other related duties as assigned
