About The Position
The Security Associate position at Uptown Market & Wine Shop in Minneapolis, MN is responsible for monitoring public areas for unusual activity and potential threats, monitoring security systems, identifying potential thieves, and documenting theft and other violations. The role requires the ability to work in and enjoy a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Requirements
- Must have an open and flexible availability for shifts
- Must be able to work within Store Operating hours (6 am - 10 pm)

Nice To Haves
- Previous loss prevention, security, and deescalation experience is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor public areas for unusual activity and potential threats
- Monitor security systems like alarms and closed-circuit cameras
- Identify potential thieves from customers or staff
- Document theft and other violations
