About The Position

Researches, develops and prepares instructions and other material regarding a wide range of security programs. Prepares and disseminates instructional material and products to increase security awareness and reinforce compliance with security policies. Plans and initiates special projects, conducts special studies. Queries relevant databases to gather information and distributes to appropriate groups within the office. Electronically scans incoming documents into investigative databases to establishing internal records. Creates investigative file folders for all regulatory investigations. Establishes and maintains filing systems and ensure timely processing of data; ensures proper storage and availability of relevant documents. Maintains files as per expunction policies to archive or dispose. Analyzes bi-weekly Castle system data and Labor statistics to ensure integrity of data prior to final approval by management. Generates leave and labor distribution analysis reports. Prepares travel authorizations and vouchers for all employee travel. Schedules internal meetings to include handling logistics, hand-outs, attendance sheets, and maintains applicable records. Coordinates in conjunction with management and documents annual employee notices/advisements per FAA policy.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of related security experience.
  • Experience working with computer systems, applications, and web applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively deal with customers and diffuse potential problems.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to meet agency and customer deadlines.
  • Must meet background investigation requirements outlined in FAA Order 1600.1 (Personnel Security Program) and FAA Order 1600.72 (Industrial Security Program).
  • Willingness to undergo an FAA background investigation.
  • Ability to complete SF-85P – Questionnaire for Public Trust.
  • Ability to complete FD-258 – FBI Fingerprint Card.
  • Ability to complete DOT Form 1631 – Disclosure and Authorization Pertaining to Consumer Reports Pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
  • For classified functional areas, operations, or facilities, contractor personnel will be required to complete SF-86 forms to obtain a national security clearance.
