About The Position

The Security Architect is responsible for designing enterprise & systems security throughout the development lifecycle. This role involves translating technology & environmental conditions (laws & regulations), into effective security designs & processes, w/ a focus on implementing Zero Trust (ZT) principles. The Security Architect must design, develop, & implement security architectures for enterprise systems throughout the development lifecycle, incorporating ZT principles. They must be able to support regulatory compliance by translating laws, regulations, & environmental conditions into security designs & processes, ensure lifecycle management by integrating security at every stage of the system & software development lifecycles, collaborate w/ cross-functional teams to meet security requirements, & stay informed about security trends, threats, & best practices.

Requirements

  • AA/AS Degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university -or- Substitute 3+ Yrs of related EXP.
  • IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) Certification & applicable CE/OS Certification.
  • EXP w/ regulatory compliance, lifecycle management, collaboration, & staying informed.
  • EXP w/ Zero Trust, Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory, GitLab, SaaS Security, & Palo Alto.
  • EXP w/ ACAS, Microsoft Defender, STIGs, Microsoft 365, SaaS Security, RHEL, Windows Server, MacOS, & eMASS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
