About The Position

SOFTWARE PEOPLE INC is seeking a Security Architect SIEM Engineer to design and strengthen enterprise security infrastructure. This remote role involves developing and maintaining enterprise SIEM solutions and security architecture, monitoring and responding to security events, and supporting threat hunting and incident response activities. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Security Architect, SIEM Engineer, or in a similar cybersecurity role.
• Hands-on expertise with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, or MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with log management, threat detection, and incident response.
• Familiarity with network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or SIEM-specific credentials.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise SIEM solutions.
• Develop and optimize security architecture frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events, alerts, and incidents in real time.
• Create and tune SIEM correlation rules, dashboards, and reports.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate log sources and data feeds into the SIEM environment.
• Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis.
• Support incident response and provide forensic analysis as needed.
