About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Security and Travel Support role that will perform a wide variety of complex administrative and travel support duties in support of the Counternarcotics & Stabilization Policy (CNSP) Division and program offices. As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) with SAP eligibility clearance.

Requirements

A minimum of an Associate’s degree is required in Business Administration, or an associated security field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience administering special access security (SCI & SAP) and travel support programs is required.
Strong knowledge of travel planning tools and security best practices.
Knowledgeable in the application of security directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines to independently discharge AMIC Special Security Representative (SSR) and Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) duties and responsibilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, electronic records management, passport/visa processes, administering special access security (SCI & SAP) and travel support programs.
Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with USAF Government travel regulations or experience in a Federal contracting environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support AMIC Advance Program Office customers and higher headquarter security officials to ensure all security missions are accomplished.
Interface with senior level official in the support of the AMIC Information Protections Office and Special Access, Advance Program Office.
Supports the AMIC SAP/SAR program with knowledge and proficiency in the following security disciplines: INFOSEC, PERSEC, INDUSEC, COMSEC support, and JWICS IT Systems Program in support of SCI and SAP/SAR Programs.
OCONUS Travel Support for AMIC Personnel; Coordination for AMIC personnel, Government and Industry Mission Partners to travel out of CONUS which consists of the following; OCONUS Training coordination OCONUS Clearance Request Entry; Processing and obtaining official & personal passports for individual travelers; Processing visa paperwork for each country visited; Coordinating with Air Force Security Agencies or applicable agencies if briefings are needed (and schedule accordingly); Working with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance holders to conduct required security training prior to OCONUS travel; Develop and pass Security Clearances via APACS, eCC and IATP if required; Process and/or validate Common Access Card (CAC) applications; Sending Command & Department Notifications of travel; Processing CAC applications; Creating and submitting government and industry personnel Arming Letters/packages where applicable to Chief of Mission (COM) travel requirements; Schedule Industry Partners deployments for CONUS Replacement Center (CRC); Tracking & verifying gear issued to personnel traveling OCONUS and from CRC; Validate Letters of Authorization (LOAs) for Industry deployments ; Coordination of completion of OCONUS requirements for Contractors deployments: Submitting OCONUS Theater and Country Clearance Requests; Reviewing and submitting Arming Packages; Processing and obtaining official passports for individual travelers; Processing visa request letters, as required, for each country visited; Conducting training on OCONUS travel; Assisting & coordinating deployment training for Contractors to meet DoD and DOS (Chief of Missions) requirements; Maintaining an awareness of OCONUS travel requirements and coordinating dissemination of requirements and process changes to USG and Contractor personnel for multi theater travel; Coordinate travel arrangements (CONUS and OCONUS) for USG personnel; Provide program management, research, and logistical coordination support to USG personnel.
Conduct research into travel regulations, threat intel, training requirements, concerning USG personnel travel responsibilities and tasks.
Analyze and evaluate confidential, sensitive, and complex travel issues.
Implement and administer the special access programs (SAP) (personnel, industrial, and physical security), by utilizing DoD, United States Air Force (USAF), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), MAJCOM and local policies/directives for the construction, protection, and operation of SAP facilities (SAP-Fs).
Initiates and implements policies and procedures required to manage Information Protections, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs and to protect SCI resources.
Serves as an SCI Control Officer responsible for managing collateral and SCI classified information and material within the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).
Administers the SCI security clearance program for all assigned personnel, ensuring all required clearances are up-to-date and completed.
Provides oversight of unit and SSO security self-inspections and presents detailed and comprehensive reports with corrective action taken to the unit intelligence commander.
COMSEC. Obtain, remove, replace, operate, store, transport, support, and manage all COMSEC items and key materials required to operate and sustain operations IAW AFMAN17-1302-O, Communications Security (COMSEC) Operations.
Perform COMSEC user duties IAW AFMAN 17-1302-O and the supporting base COMSEC account manager, requirements.
