This position is responsible for patrolling all areas of the property, assisting guests with room access, and monitoring various security and safety systems including Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems. The role involves responding to accidents, administering first aid/CPR, assisting guests and employees during emergencies, and completing incident reports. Key duties include handling disturbances, calling for outside assistance when necessary, resolving safety hazards, and escorting unwelcome persons from the property. The officer will also report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts, use proper code responses, and complete daily activity reports. Maintaining confidentiality of all security and property reports is crucial, as is conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and interviewing relevant parties. The role also requires adherence to company policies, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, completing safety training, maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, and providing excellent guest service according to company standards. This includes anticipating guest needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and communicating clearly and professionally. The position requires the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, read and visually verify information, inspect equipment, use computers, and move at a speed required to respond to work situations. Physical requirements include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance, manipulating objects with fine motor skills, moving through narrow or elevated spaces, and moving over various surfaces and stairs. Other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors are also part of the role.
