About The Position

Radiance Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Security Analyst to support the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) Technical Center (TC) in coordinating security activities and meeting mission and operational requirements. The role covers information, physical, and personnel security, including security documentation, personnel processing, risk assessments, and management of classified material, keys, and security containers. The analyst coordinates with SMDC Division Chiefs, staff elements, and technical monitors/Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs) to collect, organize, and maintain information about SMDC activities, track requests through resolution, and help the SMDC Security Manager compile information and prepare briefings. Approval from the SMDC Security Manager is required before information is disseminated for briefings. The position is primarily located at the SMDC Technical Center and may require after-hours support to accommodate mission needs. The analyst provides security guidance and support to Government and contractor personnel, assists with security assessments and compliance activities, maintains security records and documentation, and supports classified material handling and personnel processes.

Requirements

At least two years of experience as a Security Manager or Facility Security Officer (FSO).
Experience performing information security, physical security, and personnel security functions.
Experience preparing and reviewing security documentation, processing personnel, and maintaining security records and controls.
Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate security activities supporting SMDC Technical Center mission and operational requirements.
Coordinate with SMDC Division Chiefs, staff elements, and technical monitors/Contracting Officer’s Representatives to collect, organize, and maintain information related to SMDC activities.
Track requests for information and support and monitor their status through resolution.
Assist the SMDC Security Manager with compiling information and preparing briefings; obtain the Security Manager’s approval before disseminating information for briefings.
Provide security guidance, policy clarification, interpretation, and assistance across information security, access control, physical security, operations security (OPSEC), and communications security (COMSEC).
Assist with security risk assessments, pre-inspections, and analysis of key performance metrics; document findings and provide written reports to the SMDC Security Manager.
Develop, review, and maintain security documentation, databases, spreadsheets, and other security records.
Support personnel in-processing and out-processing, Staff Assistance Visits, and preparation and review of security-related documents and briefings for appropriate classification markings.
Provide COMSEC support; assist with destruction of classified and Controlled Unclassified Information material; and process incoming and outgoing classified material.
Serve as a security monitor, complete required annual training, and support applicable security compliance activities.
Support preliminary security investigations and other security-related activities as required.
Attend meetings, coordinate with mission stakeholders, and provide additional security support to meet operational requirements.
Provide after-hours support when needed to accommodate mission requirements.
