Requirements

  • Experience in cybersecurity, information security, risk, GRC, vulnerability management, security assessments, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity and a continuous-learning mindset, particularly around evolving cybersecurity threats and technologies.
  • A proactive approach to identifying risks, solving problems, and improving security practices.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with frameworks, standards, or regulations such as NIST, ISO, SOX, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, or GLBA is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GSEC, or similar credentials are also valued but are not required for every opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing and monitoring cybersecurity risks across Lennar's technology environment.
  • Supporting governance, risk, and compliance initiatives and helping align security practices with industry standards and business objectives.
  • Reviewing vulnerability assessments, penetration testing results, audit findings, and other security assessments to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Tracking and supporting remediation efforts, including plans of action and milestones.
  • Evaluating third-party vendors and business partners to help identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Supporting business continuity, disaster recovery, and security preparedness initiatives.
  • Partnering with technology and business teams to understand priorities, identify risks, and develop practical security solutions.
  • Preparing risk assessments, security findings, and recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Contributing to security awareness and education initiatives across the organization.
  • Staying current on emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry practices.
  • Collaborating with security and technology professionals to continuously strengthen Lennar's cybersecurity capabilities.
