About The Position
We are seeking a Security Analyst – Intermediate to support Medicaid security for payment processing systems. This position offers diverse challenges, continuous learning opportunities, and a relaxed yet supportive work environment.
Requirements
- Strong ability to communicate vulnerability information to non-security personnel.
- Working knowledge of web applications.
- Working knowledge of databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and tools (Nmap, Wireshark, vulnerability scanning).
- High School Diploma
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with SIEM search and analysis.
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 standards.
- Security+ certification
Responsibilities
- Perform vulnerability scanning and coordinate remediation with responsible teams.
- Deploy and manage Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions.
- Review and evaluate firewall requests.
- Research and assess newly released vulnerabilities.
- Assist with incident response and investigations.
- Support GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) assessments.
- Create alerts in SIEM tools based on data from multiple security systems.
