About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer to patrol sensitive environments, identify potential risks, protect people and property, and respond to threats and incidents. The role is based in Mount Holly, North Carolina, and involves standing and walking throughout the shift. The set schedule is 7 a.m.–3 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, for 32 hours per week. The hourly wage is $19.00. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• Respond quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Protect the safety of individuals and property.
