About The Position

The Securities Services Lead is primarily responsible for workflow operations, including leading, reviewing, and implementing processes that affect workload, procedures, and schedules. The role works closely with various units within the BOK Financial Securities division to mitigate risk and ensure operational processes are executed accurately and efficiently, in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations, and in support of service-level objectives. The position oversees four operational desks and their processes. It identifies priorities and implements efficiency improvements, develops procedures, standards, and controls to reduce risk, coaches staff, and ensures service expectations are met. The role also researches complex issues, recommends solutions, manages workload changes and business relationships, and supports conversions, new initiatives, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5 years of directly related experience in a high-volume securities operations environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to motivate employees and provide team leadership.
Advanced ability to oversee multiple department workflow processes and procedures.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles.
Extensive knowledge of production management and operational systems.
Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe, to create management reports.
Excellent research and problem-solving skills, including reconciliation and budget analysis.
Demonstrated ability to organize workflow and improve processes to meet numerous critical daily deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Fixed Income workflow operations experience is strongly preferred.
