About The Position

The Securities & Derivatives Intmd. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for position monitoring and management across NAM/EMEA exchanges. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, delivery, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated comprehension of Fixed Income products, accounting and regulatory policies
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives (eg) Futures, Options
• Understanding of Chicago Mercantile Exchange, ICE Europe, IDEM, MEFF, Euronext, Eurex, Nasdaq & SAFEX
• Dynamic individual with high attention detail
• Teamwork orientated with a follow through to resolution attitude
• Effective verbal & written skills

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Energy products, Commodities, Oil, Power & Gas would be an advantage

• Identify policy gaps and enhance the streamlining of flows & processes
• Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies, in conjunction with professional judgement to make process improvement recommendations
• Resolve settlement related issues and escalate as needed; recommend solutions to resolve complex issues
• Participate in the implementation of assigned projects, including new products, services and upgrades to platforms
• Monitor and provide solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank
• Position Management across all NAM/EMEA exchanges including Physical Futures
• Option Expiration
• Exchange Close Outs
• 3rd Friday expiry processing
• Break Resolution
• Reconciliation of physical products
• Support Operations projects
