About The Position

The Sec & Derivatives Associate Analyst is responsible for supporting the daily operations, settlement, reconciliation, and investigations ensuring proper and timely settlement for Markets Treasury Trading desk activity.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong technical skills in MS Excel and MS Access
• Thinks logically and is good at problem solving
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Utilize basic industry and business knowledge to process payments, ensuring timely and proper settlement of daily activity.
• Analyze, investigate, and resolve payment issues timely, ensuring root cause is remediated.
• Support implementation of process improvements
• Provide informal guidance or on the job training to new team members when required
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
