The Digital Security, Monitoring, Expertise and Assemblage Department is responsible for securing workstations and virtual environments, managing vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance and responding to security incidents, in order to maintain an acceptable level of risk in accordance with Desjardins Group frameworks. In addition to leading security projects, the department manages the implementation and updating of security software on workstations. As a sector vulnerability management lead, you play a key role in governing and advancing the organization’s vulnerability management practices. You contribute to protecting information resources, IT assets and strategic data by aligning security controls with organizational priorities and risk management objectives. As a sector vulnerability management lead, you influence a wide range of partners, including IT, cybersecurity and architecture teams, as well as the Desjardins Group Security Office (DGSO). You analyze security issues, recommend directions and support decision-making on strategic initiatives. You also help improve processes, standards and practices that strengthen the organization’s security posture.
