About The Position

We are a small team with big ambitions for the future! We’re looking for a subject specialist to lead our Core Skills team. Core Skills includes the following subjects: Digital, Employability, English, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Maths. In the role you will be responsible for organising a programme of learning which supports local community needs and positively contributes toward inclusion and social mobility. You will be a passionate professional with a demonstrable track record of improving outcomes for learners, and positively impacting on the quality of Teaching, Learning and Assessment within a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience of teaching, learning or assessment in at least one of the subject areas (Digital, Employability, English, ESOL, Maths).
• Relevant teaching or assessing qualifications.
• Must complete an Enhanced DBS check.
