About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. The Section Leader must be able to anticipate potential problems and apply solutions and preventative measures. Key responsibilities include completing daily cycle counts, receipt adjustments, and supporting physical inventory requirements, while also achieving daily production targets and demonstrating excellent attendance. The position requires the ability to operate Forklift and Tugger equipment, and flexibility to support extraordinary production requirements. The Section Leader will investigate abnormal situations, document findings using Microsoft Office, and possess excellent communication skills to present information to large groups of associates. This role also involves communicating and enforcing policies and procedures, and supporting and directing daily company production and projects.

Requirements

  • Post-high school education (2 - 4-year degree in Operations Management, Business or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Able to interact professionally within the company with our customer and associates.
  • Able to lead project teams and present information to management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able and willing to work any shift, hours, holidays, weekends, or overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to pass Hair Follicle Testing and Badging Process through HMA.
  • Computer skills- Microsoft Office; GCCS/GPCS.
  • Successful completion of Microsoft Assessment Test will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.
  • Anticipate potential problems and apply solutions and preventative measures.
  • Complete daily cycle counts, receipt adjustment, and support of Physical Inventory requirements.
  • Achieve Daily production Targets.
  • Maintain excellent attendance.
  • Operate equipment Forklift and Tugger.
  • Be flexible to support extraordinary production requirements.
  • Investigate abnormal situations and document findings utilizing Microsoft Office.
  • Present information to large groups of associates.
  • Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Support and direct daily company production and projects.
  • Follow safety rules and requirements.
  • Ensure work area is clean (5s at end of shift).
  • Maintain Inventory Accuracy daily.
  • Report any inventory irregularities to supervisor immediately.
  • Ensure correct receipt of all parts in both GCCS and GPCS (SOX).
  • Support overtime (scheduled or unscheduled).
  • Monitor receiving areas to ensure correct receipt.
  • Interact with team members and customer daily in a positive way.
  • Treat all associates consistently and respectfully.
  • Raise concerns/issues immediately to management.
  • Train on SOPs as presented by management.
  • Participate in skill advancement courses.
