About The Position

Schedule all Leonard E Merrell Center, Young Agricultural Sciences Center, and select ESC 1200 Room facility reservations. Provide excellent office customer service, including, answering telephone and route calls. Provide secretarial support to the General Manager of Facilities and Shared management of the Maintenance and Operations uniform inventory.

Requirements

  • College hours, high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to meet or exceed tight deadlines, and handle frequent interruptions
  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of general office machines
  • Ability to work with people

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with District reservation procedures, maintenance procedures and scheduling software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows

Responsibilities

  • Perform as a receptionist: setting up appointments, taking messages, etc.
  • Answer department telephone; set department voicemail.
  • Maintain department filing system.
  • Operate and help maintain all office machines.
  • Serve as financial clerk when necessary.
  • Attend related meetings and trainings as requested.
  • Distribute deliveries and mail.
  • Prepare client correspondence for the General Manager of Facilities.
  • Process maintenance requisitions for assigned teams.
  • Enter Maintenance & Operations work orders for assigned teams.
  • Process timesheets for LMC events, and EMT personnel.
  • Work evenings and weekends as necessary for facility events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
