The Secretary II performs complex secretarial and clerical tasks using a personal computer. This role involves composing and preparing routine correspondence for signature, attending meetings and conferences to furnish information and take notes, scheduling appointments, and maintaining the Director’s calendar. The position also includes arranging for meetings and conferences, making travel arrangements as necessary, and assisting the Director with preparations and arrangements for special events. Additionally, the Secretary II will establish and maintain confidential files and records, and assist in the training of new clerical personnel.
