About The Position

This position involves a great deal of public contact and serves as a receptionist performing general secretarial duties. These duties include greeting and checking in adult probation offenders, the public, and attorneys. It also involves answering phone calls, data entry, filing, faxing, preparing letters, preparing and sending record requests, as well as scanning documents. This position requires the use of a personal computer with proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook programs. The applicant will learn and utilize Odyssey and Enterprise Supervision computer programs to retrieve case information in the preparation of case files.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook programs
  • Ability to learn and utilize Odyssey and Enterprise Supervision computer programs
  • Undergo and pass a criminal history records check
  • Ability to work with both staff and the public in a courteous and professional manner
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to multitask

Nice To Haves

  • Previous secretarial experience
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish speaking)
