You will manage overdue balances, investigate claim issues, and work closely with patients and insurance companies to ensure timely payments. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our Central Business Office and the achievement of our annual business goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer service experience (retail, hospitality, banking, or healthcare).
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work efficiently across multiple programs with dual monitors.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Passionate about career development and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an office or medical billing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and manage open secondary claim balances where Medicare is the primary or secondary payer.
  • Investigate claims overdue by 60 days or more; document all verbal and written communications.
  • Conduct outbound calls to patients and insurance companies to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Manage incoming correspondence and address inquiries from patients, field offices, and centers.
  • Identify billing errors and payer issues; escalate concerns to supervisors as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-ups for account resolution.
