About The Position

Cranium Academy is hiring a Secondary Teacher to teach 7th and 8th grade. The teacher facilitates student learning and growth by sharing knowledge, guiding understanding, and fostering critical-thinking skills in their area of expertise. The role provides a supportive learning environment and professional autonomy, with access to education incentives and career development programs. The position requires Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law; candidates may need to complete screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, at minimum.
• 3–5 years of elementary or middle school teaching experience.
• Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong curriculum experience.
• Positive interpersonal skills with students and parents.
• Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law; candidates may be required to complete screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
