About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher (Religious Education) to join our team at Southern Cross Catholic College. The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers. This is a Full Time, Fixed Term position from January 18, 2027, to December 3, 2027. You will be part of a supportive team committed to creating an excellent learning experience for every student in partnership with the parent community. Your ability to adapt to contemporary teaching practices and support diverse learners will ensure every child feels included, valued, and confident. In the classroom, you will foster curiosity and a love for learning through engaging lesson design, clear expectations, and continuous reflection for improvement. You will utilize various assessment tools to track student progress, celebrate achievements, and provide constructive feedback. Guided by Catholic values, you will uphold the school's mission, prioritize student safety and well-being, and contribute to a welcoming, supportive environment where all learners feel a sense of belonging.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications.
• Registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers.
