About The Position

ANTICIPATED VACANCY 2026-2027 POSITION TITLE: Secondary Physical Education Teacher ( Job Description ) QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) teaching certificate appropriate to the assignment, including Health and Physical Education PK–12 (Code 4805) , in accordance with PDE certification and staffing guidelines. Instructional I or Instructional II certification valid for the assignment, or other PDE-approved credential or permit authorized for the assignment in accordance with applicable PDE requirements. Maintenance of certification and continuing professional education in accordance with PDE requirements, including Act 48.
