About The Position

Wausau Tile is seeking a Secondary Operations Support member for our Paving Department. This rotating role involves working across various production stations, including Blaster, Seal, Grinder, CNC, Vibro Takeoff, and Saws. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and safety-conscious, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Operate, adjust, and clean production machinery for precast concrete pavers.
Rotate across multiple production workstations as required.
Monitor production quality and make adjustments to ensure specifications are met.
Follow production paperwork (blueprints, spec sheets, schedules) to guide tasks.
Ensure high-quality output of pavers in various styles, sizes, and colors.
Set up machinery for daily or shift-based production runs.
Operate machinery efficiently, troubleshooting minor issues as they arise.
Maintain clean, organized workstations to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in other areas such as blasting, sealing, grinding, cutting, and CNC routing as needed.
Communicate production status, issues, and material needs effectively with team members and supervisors.
Ensure all products meet quality control standards throughout the production process.
Work with inspection or quality control teams to address any product deviations.
