About The Position

R&L Spring Company is growing and looking for dependable Secondary Operators to join our 2nd shift manufacturing teams. In this role, you will support production by operating secondary equipment, inspecting parts, and helping ensure quality products are delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner. Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Manufacturing experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Ability to read and follow written instructions
Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
Ability to read customer blueprints preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent use of hands and repetitive movements
Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Ability to read customer blueprints

Responsibilities

Operate and assist with various secondary manufacturing processes
Set up and tend equipment used in secondary operations
Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met
Follow written work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation
Complete production paperwork and traveler documentation accurately
Monitor machines for failures and make adjustments as needed
Notify supervisors or Quality when nonconformances or quality concerns are identified
Assist with sorting, packing, labeling, and handling finished products
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
