About The Position

Anchor Hocking Company is a global industry leader in glass tabletop and houseware manufacturing, recognized worldwide for merging beauty, durability, and functionality in products like drinkware, barware, bakeware, serveware, and storage jars. Since 1905, they have perfected preparation, presentation, and preservation, with all products designed, marketed, and manufactured in the USA. This role is a key position within the Set Pack department, operating on a 2nd Shift schedule.

Requirements

3+ years in a manufacturing supervisor managerial role
5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Excellent computer skills including MS Office

Nice To Haves

New product launch experience
Six Sigma Greenbelt or higher
Management experience in an organized labor environment

Responsibilities

Oversee secondary packing, palletizing, and material handling to finished goods operations for the shift.
Achieve Human Development, Safety, Quality, Yield, Conversion Cost, and Continuous Improvement goals and objectives through Key-Performance-Indicators Breakthrough Leadership.
Supervise a team of 40-50 hourly associates.
Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Act as a role model and champion of the company’s values and principles.
Promote and manage predictive and preventative maintenance activities.
Implement changes to foster a high-performing operating team and positive culture.
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Build positive and collaborative relationships with bargaining unit employees.
Report daily shift performance for all production lines and shift maintenance activities.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
