About The Position

Framework is hiring certified, experienced, and creative Secondary Math Tutors to provide engaging, high-quality virtual tutoring to high school students. Tutors teach Grade 9 Algebra 1 to small groups or individual students using provided curriculum and interactive slide decks. Sessions last 15 to 60 minutes and take place on a safe, secure online platform. The position is remote, and tutors must reside and work in the U.S. It is a part-time W-2 role with no guaranteed minimum hours, scheduled weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST. Pay is $30 per hour for tutoring and $20 per hour for administrative and preparation time. Framework provides curriculum and lesson materials, along with ongoing professional development and a supportive virtual workspace.

Requirements

Hold a current, valid U.S. teaching license in Secondary Math; expired licenses are not accepted.
Be available weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST.
Have a reliable computer with a microphone and camera, stable internet, and a quiet workspace.
Be able to pass a federal background check, which may include fingerprinting.
Be comfortable using online teaching tools and platforms.

Nice To Haves

Spanish-speaking or bilingual ability.
Additional Special Education or ESL certification.
Prior online tutoring experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver live virtual tutoring to students in one-on-one and small-group settings.
Create a safe, fun, and interactive virtual classroom.
Use provided curriculum to engage students in interactive, goal-focused learning.
Adapt instruction to meet each student's needs.
Administer provided assessments as scheduled.
Maintain professional communication with the Framework Tutor Operations Team.
