About The Position

Mastery Schools is a public charter network of 23 K-12 schools in Philadelphia and Camden, serving over 14,000 students. Our mission is to provide all students with the academic and personal skills they need to succeed after graduation. We are committed to pursuing equity, actively disrupting systemic racism, and addressing disparities. Our culture is built on respect, service, and the belief that student success drives our mission. We foster a positive, open, and inclusive environment. This role is crucial for supporting students with individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring they receive appropriate educational opportunities. Special education teachers at Mastery deliver research-based interventions, monitor progress, and make adjustments for optimal student outcomes. Our Specialized Services Programming supports diverse learners, aiming to keep them in general education settings as much as possible. We have a robust Response to Intervention program and utilize various Common Foundation research-based curriculums for Reading, Math, and Writing across K-12.
