About The Position

ARAMARK is looking for a Second Cook for Hydro-Québec, East Baie-James. Aramark offers a 15/13 work rotation. Transportation is provided by plane from the Bagotville and Rouyn‑Noranda airports. Employees are provided with meals and accommodation in a private room; washer and dryer are available. Aramark offers highly competitive group insurance benefits.

Requirements

3 to 4 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry
MAPAQ certification
Ensure that hygiene and food safety programs are followed

Nice To Haves

Culinary DEP or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Cook and prepare various foods by following production guidelines and standardized recipes
Prepare the daily menu
Manage kitchen activities (staff, inventory, and ordering as needed)
Be able to meet operational needs
Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment
Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, colleagues, etc.
Ensure high-quality food services and customer satisfaction
Clean and maintain the workstation
