About The Position
The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals providing remote on-demand support for legal projects. Due to increased demand, they are interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Seattle-based Immigration Attorney for in-person appearances for Master Calendar Hearings and Individual Hearings Coverage. A weekly Hearing Calendar will be shared, allowing the attorney to select hearings that fit their schedule.
Requirements
- Licensed in good standing to practice law in Washington
- Must be able to attend in-person hearings in Seattle area
- Understand local rules and court system
- Well-organized and proven ability to meet deadlines
- Self-starter and able to work independently
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Immigration law
- Spanish fluency
Responsibilities
- Attend in-person Master Calendar Hearings and Individual Hearings in the Seattle area.
Benefits
- In-Person Master Hearing Coverage pay rate starts at a flat fee of $300. Individual Hearings rate higher.
