About The Position
Stew's Wines is looking for a Seasonal Wine Merchandiser to join their team. This role involves ensuring products are properly checked in, shelves are stocked, displays are built, and assisting customers with questions. Stew's Wines aims to provide a fun and welcoming shopping experience, offering a great selection of wines and spirits. They are a family-owned business, awarded Retailer of the Year by Wine Enthusiast.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years and older
- Entry level
- Wine, Spirits, and Beer 101
- Merchandising 101
- Safe Lifting
- TiPs Certified
- Customer Service Training
- Weekends and closing shifts a must

Responsibilities
- Stocking shelves
- Building exciting displays
- Safely operating equipment such as hand trucks, u-boats, conveyors, and forklifts (where necessary)
- Assisting in inventory and store moves
- Signing off on PO's as deliveries arrive, ensuring accuracy
- Product placement in stores
- Helping to keep the store clean
- Knowing the store’s exclusive and focus items
- Capability to ring on register and cover other areas of the store
- Assisting customers with the location of products in the store and basic wine pairings
- Assisting in other duties, as assigned
