About The Position
Seasonal Wildlife Technician. Like working outside, solving problems, and never having two days look the same? As a Seasonal Wildlife Technician, you'll help homeowners and businesses handle nuisance wildlife the right way. One stop might be a raccoon in an attic, the next a bat exclusion on a three-story roof. You'll work alongside experienced technicians who'll show you the ropes, and strong performers often get offered full-time roles when the season ends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Comfortable on ladders, rooftops, and in tight spaces
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 100)
- Willing to obtain ODNR Commercial Nuisance Wild Animal Control Operator Certification (we'll support you)
Nice To Haves
- Wildlife degree or route/customer service experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to client sites across the area
- Assist with humane, code-compliant nuisance wildlife solutions
- Inspect roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and entry points
- Keep your truck stocked and your work documented
- Represent Varment Guard professionally with every customer
