Seasonal Warehouse Associate
About The Position
Meier Supply is a leading edge HVAC/R wholesale distributor with operations throughout NY, PA, MA, and CT. They have an excellent seasonal part-time opportunity for a Warehouse/Delivery Associate at their branch location in Wilkes Barre, PA. This position runs through their busy season and will end sometime in late summer/early fall. This is a temporary part-time position at this point in time. The hours will be between 20-30 hours a week, depending on the business needs. The work schedule may vary but it will be between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The pay rate starts at $17.00/hr. DOE.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a MUST for this position
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail and customer focus
- Excellent attendance and strong worth ethic
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and DMV record check
- Strict adherence to modeling our core values
Nice To Haves
- Preferred 1 or more years of warehouse and delivery experience
- Medical DOT is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Making deliveries
- Stocking shelves
- Filling customer orders
- Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse
- Misc. other duties as required by warehouse management
